Professor Meir Redlich CV

Prof. Redlich received his DMD in 1980 and MSc in Oral Biology in 1992 at the Hebrew University. He became a specialist in orthodontics (Cum Laude) in 1994 (Hadassah, Hebrew University). In 2001, he received his Ph.D. in Oral Biology (Hebrew University). Dr. Redlich joined the Department of Orthodontics at the Hadassah Medical Center of the Hebrew University in 1998, where he was promoted to senior lecturer in 1994 and associate professor in 2010.

He served as Director of Research activities and, from 2003–2006, as Director of the Postgraduate Program in Orthodontics. He has published over 60 original papers, and in the last decade has attained multiple national and international research grants. Recently, he co-authored (with Prof. Reshef Tenne) a chapter entitled Nanobiomaterials in Clinical Dentistry (Nanobiomaterials in Clinical Dentistry Eds. Karthikeyan Subramani, et al. Nanoparticle Coating of Orthodontic Appliances for Friction Reduction. Ch. 13 pp. 259-279. Elsevier 2013). In 2011, he co-founded NanoMediCOTTM (Nanotechnologies for Medical and Healthcare Applications), a startup company, where he served as chief scientist. He also served as the VP and scientific advisor at AerodentisTM.
